Pipes are long-hollow round-shaped cylinders helpful to transfer flowing fluids from one pipe to another. The fluids include gases, pellets, powders, liquid, etc. These pipes are connected to pipe fittings like flanges, valves, bolts, etc., using welding, soldering, or forging methods.

On the other hand, Tubes are long-hollow rods helpful to support or install in structural applications, including pressure equipment, machinery parts, and instrumentation systems. Usually, they are available in round, rectangular, oval, and square shapes. Also, its outer diameter is not more than 5-inches.

Incoloy 825 is a nickel-chromium-ferrous alloy. It provides good resistance to acids like sulfuric, phosphoric, nitric, etc. Also, it exhibits excellent mechanical properties that are essential in both high and low-temperature areas.

Mangalam Metal Corporation is one of the renowned distributors and exporters of Incoloy 825 Pipes and Tubes across the globe. We produce all our Incoloy products following the ASME guidelines to meet national and international standards.

APPLICATIONS OF INCOLOY 825 PIPES AND TUBES

Incoloy 825 Pipes and Tubes enhance the stability, durability, and toughness of the overall piping system within the organization. Incoloy 825 is highly resistant to oxidation and intercrystalline corrosion, making it preferable in elevated temperature areas.

DIFFERENCE BETWEEN PIPES AND TUBES

Many times, we use the terms ‘pipes’ and ‘tube’ interchangeably. It might sound like a synonym, but they are very different!

For your better understanding, we are presenting you the 3-crucial difference between pipes and tubes:

  • Dimensions – Inner diameter defines the liquid capacity and strength of the pipe and tubes, respectively. For pipes, the outer diameter minus two times the wall thickness will determine the inner diameter. Whereas tubes have classified schedules with prescribed measurements for outer diameters and thickness.
  • Usages – Pipes are generally helpful in highly efficient and automated processing houses like gas stations, processing mills, chemical processing industries, etc. On the other hand, tubes are beneficial to support machinery or instrumental appliances within the factory premises.
  • Connecting Methods – Joining pipes is labor-intensive. We can connect them using soldering, welding, or forging methods. Whereas tubes have threaded or grooved ends, making it easy to join them using flaring, coupling, or brazing methods.
Markings and Packing

Product packaging serves to protect the products inside. Mangalam Metal Corporation effectively ensures all the products are deliverable to our clients securely. In the case of exports, we follow all international standard protocols of packaging.

Often, we export them in wooden cases. We mark our products with Grades, Lot Numbers, Size, Degree, and our Trademark. We also make custom markings on the products as per the requirements of our clients.

Quality Assurance

At Mangalam Metal Corporation, all products are subject to strict supervision at each production chain, right from purchasing the raw materials to dispatching products. All the processes undergo inspections for conformity to ASTM, ASME, MSS, and JIS codes and standards.
