The history of threaded pipe fittings dates to 1820, which is still popularly helpful today. Technically, threads are the round rings carved on a pipe or metal to join other pipelines or equipment. Threaded Forged Fittings are the type of fittings that connects the channels by internal or external threads. Usually, their circumferences are no more than four inches.

At Mangalam Metal Corporation, we follow all standards and legitimate protocols laid by the American Standard ASME B1.20.1 to source and supply Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings.

Inconel 600/601 is a premium components alloy of nickel and chromium. Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings is highly versatile and provides good oxidation resistance at an elevated temperature up to 2000 0 F.

The demand for Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings is never at the bottom line. Mangalam Metal Corporation supplies these fittings all around the globe with unbeatable services and standard quality.

APPLICATIONS OF INCONEL 600/601 THREADED FORGED FITTINGS IN DIFFERENT INDUSTRIES

Pipes and fittings are the backbones of any industry. Depending on the type and nature of the business, they carry liquids or gas components from one place to another place. Since the materials or components can be toxic or vulnerable at room temperature, one must take proper measures to install and upgrade its pipe fittings.

Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings might be the oldest but conventional and effective way to connect pipes. The followings are the attributes of Threaded Forged Fittings:

  • Threaded Pipes are commonly helpful in non-critical applications like domestic water, fire protection, or industrial cooling systems.
  • They are quick and easy to install in various applications.
  • Inconel 600/601 is corrosive resistance. Hence, the threaded fittings can stand higher temperature environments compared to other components.

Although Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings are easy to install, they require skills and planning to connect the pipes in sequence. We need to consider various factors such as weight, environment, or components before assembling the pipelines in the final stage.

Following are some major industries and their machinery, where you will find our Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings used:

  • Gate Valves
  • Ball Valves
  • Central Vacuum Systems

Key Properties Of Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings

  • They are suitable for low-pressure applications. Also, their leakage integrity is good.
  • Being nickel their primary alloyant, they possess higher strength, durability, and good resistance in corrosive environments.
  • They are very economical. Also, its parts are readily available in the market.
  • They inherit lesser strength compared with the welding method. Thus, one needs to keep track and upgrade whenever required.
  • Assembling the threaded pipe fittings is labour-intensive. One needs to have experience and knowledge to install Inconel 600/601 Threaded Pipe Fittings in their piping system.

Different Types Of Inconel 600/601 Threaded Forged Fittings

Threaded Forged Fittings undergo both hot form and cold form manufacturing processes. We often use them for small bore piping connections. Technically, threaded forged fittings are available in three different classes, namely: Class 2000, Class 3000, and Class 6000.

Threaded Elbow helps to connect or change the direction of flows within the piping systems. They are available in two forms: Elbow 90: They form a 90-degree angle to connect or change the flow of liquid or gaseous components. Elbow 45: They form a 45-degree angle to connect or change the flow of liquid or gaseous components.

Threaded Tee is ‘T’ shaped fittings, having three outlets in the same or different diameters.  They channelize and connect three pipes under the piping system. They are available in two forms:

Equal Tee: The diameter of the main pipe and branch pipes is equal.

Reducing Tee: The diameter of the main pipe is thicker compared with the branch pipes

Threaded Cross is ‘plus (+)’ shaped fittings, having four outlets in the same or different diameters. They connect and direct the flow of fluids from the main pipe to the branch pipes at a 90-degree angle.

Threaded Couplings are short pipes with internal thread at one or both ends. They are available in two types:

Half Coupling: They have internal threading only at one end. The other end of the half coupling will weld to pipes.

Full Coupling: They have internal threading at both ends. They are longer than the half coupling and connect threaded pipes.

Markings and Packing

Product packings are very crucial, and one must handle them with care. Mangalam Metal Corporation ensures all the products are deliverable to our clients securely. In the case of exports, we follow all international standards of packaging.

Often, we export them in wooden cases. We mark our products with Grades, Lot Numbers, Size, Degree, and our Trademark. At the request of our clients, we can make custom markings on the products.

Quality Assurance

At Mangalam Metal Corporation, all products are subject to strict supervision at each production chain, right from purchasing the raw materials to dispatching products. All the processes undergo inspections for conformity to ASTM, ASME, MSS, and JIS codes and standards.
