Our Hastelloy C22 Fasteners are being used in several industries such as chemical, power, semi-conductor and water industries. It is for that reason that Hastelloy B2 Fasteners have found its way into some of the most corrosive environments. Hastelloy C-22 is resistant to oxidizing acid chlorides, wet chlorine, formic and acetic acids, ferric and cupric chlorides, seawater, brine, and a variety of mixed or contaminated chemical solutions, both organic and inorganic.

Alloy C-22 should not be used in service temperatures above 1250° F due to the production of deleterious phases at higher temperatures. Hastelloy C22 Screws are utilized in flue gas desulfurization systems because they are highly resistant to sulfur compounds and chloride ions found in most scrubbers. Hastelloy C22 Studs are highly resistant to pitting and stress-corrosion cracking.
